| The first event took place in 2000 with 12 000 entrants. In 2004, 25 000 walkers took to the streets of Joburg over the four distances. In 2006 with a revamped and restructured Discovery 702 Walk the Talk we had 30 000 walkers, and in 2007 40 000 participants took part in the event. 2008/9 saw a record 50 000 participants making the Walk the largest in Africa! |
