It will include a t-shirt, goodie bag and a finisher medal.

We do not promote running as this event is a walk. Some of the terrain is uneven so will not allow for running.

It will take place at Maropeng in The Cradle of Humankind.

You will receive an email confirming your entry.

There are 2 water points on the 8km, and 1 water point on the 5km and 3km routes. There is also a water station at the finish line for all participants use.

There will be toilets at the start, finish, and on the route.

There will be advanced life support, intermediary, and basic medical assistance available for the duration of the day.

Unfortunately, no dogs (or domestic animals) are allowed at Maropeng.

The 3km route is specially designed to cater to prams and wheelchairs.

There is ample parking available at the venue. We hope to offer a park and ride – more info coming soon!

We encourage participants to plan ahead to stay after the event to make the most of the impeccable surroundings. Bring a picnic basket and chairs - food will be on sale and artists will be performing on the event stage. More details to follow! Please note, no open fires will be permitted!

Yes there will be a dedicated kids play area.

Walk numbers should be pinned on the front of your walk shirts.

Walk pack collection will take place on the 17th, 18th and 19th of August. The venue for collection will be announced soon.
